Connectors vs Channels
Connectors and channels are not the same things. You cannot have a channel without a connector. But within one connector you can have many channels. For example, if you’ve purchased the Magento Connector, within that you can have all of your international stores, which in this case are the channels. All of this will be sitting waiting for you in different sheet tabs.
Platform & Marketplace connectors
The platform and marketplace connectors perform a two-way synchronization in Sheetly. We can take the data from your eCommerce platform or your marketplace and place it to the product spreadsheet and vice versa - after you’ve organized your products in Sheetly, you can easily publish to your eCommerce platform or your marketplace.
With social channels and connectors, it's a bit different. We don’t bring any data back in the product spreadsheet that you already have in your social accounts. What we let you do is publish correct and bespoke data to your social account.
We call systems like supply chain management, inventory, accounting, etc. ERP connectors. Systems like these are where most of your core data such as SKU, Name, and Quantity is initially created. With these connectors, Sheetly can only take data and bring it back to the product spreadsheet but not publish your already enriched data to systems to them.
